Dan Zerr - Sounds of River Bend
Dan Zerr is a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist and a veteran of many bands in the Chippewa Valley. He is a bassist/guitarist/vocalist with the Eggplant Heroes, a bassist/vocalist with The Hey Joe Band, fronts his own band, Dan & The Obtainables on guitar and vocals, and has worked as a studio musician with many local artists. He has published original music as a solo artist as well as with the Eggplant Heroes, all available online or on CD. As a solo artist in live shows he plays a variety of genres as well as his original music which spans folk, pop, blues, funk, and other sounds.
Nick Foytik - Sounds of River Bend
Hailing from the pines of Northern Wisconsin, Nick began playing guitar at 15. From early on, his songs have shown a connection to the blues, soul, and rock n’ roll. Now, with more than 20 years of experience, Nick continues to work as a guitar for hire, but spends most of his time getting his own music heard. As his solo act moves around the Midwest growing momentum, he also focuses on the Nick Foytik Band, catching the ears of their audiences anywhere they go. Whether you’re seeing Nick solo or with his band, you’re always in for a unique and quality performance.

Valerie Evans is a freelance musician and educator, running a private lessons studio for voice, trombone, and piano. She performs regularly throughout the Midwest exploring the genres of jazz, americana, folk, soul, R&B, pop, and rock. Her partner, Dustin DeGolier is a freelance guitarist, vocalist, and educator serving Northwest Wisconsin and beyond.

Minor Third - Sounds of River Bend
With a unique blend of vocal harmony and acoustic ambiance, Minor Third craft a different take on classic and contemporary music, covering genres from country, pop, rock and everywhere in between.
Comprised of three up and coming artists based out of the Chippewa Valley, they have individually and collectively performed with various groups and graced stages from the Pablo Center to Summerfest. Now they’ve joined forces as Minor Third in a new acoustic collaborative to create a sonic fusion all their own.
Justin Barts - Sounds of River Bend
Justin Barts is an award-winning singer/songwriter and recording artist in the Twin cities area. Justin started playing the guitar as a teenager and soon was writing his own material influenced by blues, rock, jazz, and country and has been recording and performing music for over a decade. Justin earned his degree at The Institution of Production and Recording in Minneapolis, MN and has operated his own recording studio since 2005.
From an intimate acoustic show to a 6-piece band with a full horn section and violin, his versatility and revolving door of top-notch players make him a must-see act. Justin performs for weddings, bars, clubs, festivals, private events and benefits & charities. He plays in many bands around the area and was the guitarist and vocalist that won the 2016 Famous Dave’s Blues Battle.

With roots in the church and a solid foundation of musical education, Joyann Parker found her authentic voice later in life and created her own blend of roots music that combines Soul, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, and Traditional Blues styles. Parker has been a steadily rising star on the Midwest music scene and now brings her full range of talent as an accomplished singer, pianist, guitarist and songwriter to national and international stages.

Dan Ferstenou is a singer and guitarist living in Saint Paul. As a solo artist, Dan performs a variety of memorable acoustic songs spanning from the 1960’s up to today. From the great singer songwriter era of Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Neil Young, and John Prine to diverse artists such as Jason Isbell, Tom Petty, and Prince, fans of all ages will be entertained.

Join Board & Brush for an off-site Bb Brought to You workshop at River Bend Winery & Distillery. Bring your creativity and a willingness to learn. We provide all the materials and instruct you step-by-step to create a beautiful piece for your home or for a gift! Choose from a variety of paint and wood stain colors in the workshop.
Winery will open at 5pm to allow you to mingle, shop and do tastings prior to class starting.

Songa - Sounds of River Bend
Come and enjoy an inspiring performance of original music with Songa. Singer/Songwriters and lifelong musicians Mario and Sherry Friedel will take you on a journey with their unique instrumental sound and soothing vocal blend. Joining the trio in 2023 is Catya, a musician skilled in multiple genres who has gigged from coast to coast. Multi-instrumentalists playing guitar, banjo, ukulele, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, melodica and percussion, these artists will take you from folk to country, newgrass to blues to Latin jazz and back again. Rooted in the Nashville songwriting tradition, you won’t want to miss their honest lyrics and pure vocal harmonies.
Songa’s newest EP, released in 2022, Sunshine in the Rain, includes songs of hope and resilience with a message of love. Their 2020 Nashville produced album, Dreams Are in the Making, shows Songa’s true Americana artistry, with authentic songs in the folk, blues and country genres.

Jim “Doc” Miller is a Wisconsin based singer/acoustic guitarist who plays original "folk rock flavored" material as well as performing a wide and eclectic range of covers drawn primarily from the Woodstock era of the 60's and 70's, from John Prine to prog rock, Emmylou Harris to the British Invasion, Beatles to Stones and back again, with deep dives into Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, John Fogerty, Paul Simon and Harry Chapin, while also showcasing contemporary small time folksingers nearly as obscure as Doc himself.

Two Rivers - Sounds of River Bend
Two Rivers musical repertoire includes something for everyone. This quartet from Eau Claire, WI performs a mix of country, swing, blues, bluegrass, and old rock 'n roll, along with some of Sue’s originals.
Two Rivers is Sue Orfield (tenor sax, vocals), Randy Sinz (acoustic guitar, bass, vocals), Gregg Wheeler (electric guitar, harmonica, vocals), and Tommy Wieseler (keys, acoustic guitar, vocals). Each has performed professionally with various groups across the United States and beyond for more than 30 years.

Jackson Taylor is from Medford, Wisconsin and currently resides in Weston, Wi. He covers early to mid 2000's country music along with many originals. In 2018 he released his first single "Let the Night Begin" and in 2019 an EP followed, "Pray Like Hell." In June 2022 he released the single “Painting Pictures.” Then followed by “Out Here” in 2023, alongside a few acoustic releases planned for 2023 & 2024. Playing 70 different venues and close to 175 shows in 2022, Jackson likes to keep things real and authentic. You get what you see with this artist.

Adam Moe - Sounds of River Bend
Adam Moe is a fiddler and singer/songwriter based in Duluth, MN. In 2012, he started the folky-tonk duo Pushing Chain with a former musical partner. For the next eight years, Pushing Chain toured the US and Canada, playing venues big and small and gaining fans the old-fashioned way — face to face, one at a time. Adam has been featured on radio and television and played some of the biggest festivals in the country, including the 2019 Woody Guthrie Festival and the 2019 Kerrville Folk Festival.
Adam believes that good music can make strangers share a table, and he tries to prove it every time he plays.

“Cathy Reitz & 7Swing” was founded by musical duo Cathy and Jeff Reitz. Both come from a deep-rooted musical background. It includes the Great American Songbook, Big Band and Swing favorites of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, along with classics from the decades before and after. Hailey James is a talented singer/songwriter/performer/recording artist who hails from Cottage Grove, MN. She has garnered recognition as a 4-time AWARD WINNER from the Midwest Country Music Organization, receiving prestigious titles such as 2022 Female Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year, as well as the 2021 Midwest CMO New Artist and Song of the Year for her track "Wide Awake."
Recent achievements include playing the Vikings VS Chiefs Halftime Show at US Bank Stadium on October 8, 2023. Hailey has also opened for country music legends including Carrie Underwood, Diamond Rio, Crystal Gayle, etc. along with being able to share the stage with Dustin Lynch in 2021 at Country Fest in Cadott, WI which turned into a viral moment across all her social media platforms.

Minnesota based singer, songwriter and guitarist Mark Cameron has been active in live music for over thirty years. Mark began his performing career in the rich folk-rock scene of the early 1970’s and brought this influence into several bands he founded during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Today Mark’s focus is centered on crafting original Blues songs with strong melodies and memorable lyrics. The range of Mark’s material stretches the Blues beyond safe limits with a focus on “foot stompin’, butt shakin” music that is built for a live audience.

Daniel and Claire make up the duo, “the foxfire affair.” These multi-instrumentalists entertain with a guitar, mandolin, concertina, and other instruments to complement their varied musical selections. While trading off lead vocals and harmonies, they’ll span several centuries of music playing everything form Irish traditionals to sea shanties, American folk to rock, and a touch of original material. Not only are they married to one another but also to their craft. They love performing and sharing music with others.
Before marriage and kids, the two performed in separate bands and as fate had it, they ended up in the same band. Their love for music and each other grew. Once life set in, they took an eight-year hiatus to start a new generation of musicians who often join them onstage. Now with the kids growing, Claire and Daniel started “the foxfire affair” to return to their passion.

Noah James Hittner - Sounds of River Bend
Despite being raised the son of a local Country-Rock legend, Noah procrastinated for well over three decades before finally picking up the guitar to begin the new year in 2009. Influenced by everything from folk-rock to hip-hop, Noah has recorded and released several albums which blend the singer-songwriter, acoustic, rock, urban, and electronic styles into a singular Acoustic-Tronic genre. This collage of influences creates a sound that begs listeners to feel something. Currently based out of Madison, WI and regularly touring the Midwest, Noah performs with the use of a looper pedal and various effects, creating a wildly entertaining, full-band sound.

Emm K is alternative rock indie singer/songwriter who started her career at a young age. She started writing at 8 years old and wrote guitar accompaniment shortly after. She is able to bring people together of all walks of life with her wide variety of covers; often older than she is. Maple Ridge - Sounds of River Bend
Maple Ridge began in 2018 when several musicians who had enjoyed jamming together for many years decided to form their own band. The group enjoys playing traditional bluegrass as well as old-time, gospel, and fiddle tunes. They are influenced by such bluegrass greats as the Stanley Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, the Carter Family, Ola Belle Reid, Doc Watson, Elizabeth Cotton and others. The “JP3” features Jim on guitar and vocals, with Robert Scarseth (guitar, vocal) and Aleks Sternfeld-Dunn (stand-up bass, vocal). They perform jazzy interpretations of folk rock, Americana, and alternative pop covers, as well as original songs from Phase I – the debut album from the Jim Phillips Project.

Hap and Hawk are a duo consisting of John Lynch on vocals and rhythm guitar and Mike Schlenker on lead guitar and vocals. Their Neo-traditional Country and Americana style transcends stereo type. Their one of a kind performances are simple and engaging as they weave their music and storytelling through the decades of their experiences, singing and playing not only in the Midwest, but across the country. Schlenker’s free-wheeling blues, rock, and country guitar swagger blends seamlessly with Lynch’s experienced and emotional vocal delivery. Mike Bustin has been performing as a professional musician in the Midwest and southeast for over a decade. He performs on average about 225-250 shows a year. Mike has the ability to cater his performances to just about any clientele because of his vast song list, and the ability to read and understand a crowd.

Hi there! My name is Matt and I write songs. I call my music, “Fun Loving-Sunny-Day, Acoustic Music!” I sing, play the acoustic guitar, piano, ukulele and the harmonica.

Minnesota based singer, songwriter and guitarist Mark Cameron has been active in live music for over thirty years. Mark began his performing career in the rich folk-rock scene of the early 1970’s and brought this influence into several bands he founded during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Today Mark’s focus is centered on crafting original Blues songs with strong melodies and memorable lyrics. The range of Mark’s material stretches the Blues beyond safe limits with a focus on “foot stompin’, butt shakin” music that is built for a live audience.
Connor Smith - Sounds of River Bend
Connor Smith performs a variety of acoustic songs that cover a wide range of genres. Fans of all ages will enjoy selections of upbeat country songs, chill modern pop, and a sprinkled-in mix of original material.
The Jim Phillips Trio - Sounds of River Bend
The “JP3” features Jim on guitar and vocals, with Robert Scarseth (guitar, vocal) and Aleks Sternfeld-Dunn (stand-up bass, vocal). They perform jazzy interpretations of folk rock, Americana, and alternative pop covers, as well as original songs from Phase I – the debut album from the Jim Phillips Project.

Jeff James, Live Looper - Sounds of River Bend
Combine one singer-songwriter’s fascination with the acoustic and electric guitar, a collection of guitar pedals resulting in an amalgamation of full band Folk, Blues, Rock, Country, and Gospel, add a social conscience, a hunger for the written word, and a love for singing and entertaining, and you’ve got Jeff James. With over 5000 performances, 9 albums, and a live DVD under his belt, Jeff has become an extremely versatile performer, adapting to whatever his environment throws at him.
Jeff finds ways of capturing audiences with Live Looping – an on the spot band creation of what sounds like a full band – adding instruments one by one. Add silky but somehow gritty vocals (a cross combination of James Taylor and Gary Allan) which have been described as “unique” and “gripping” and you’ve found a show that people keep coming back to.

Singer/Songwriters and lifelong musicians Mario and Sherry Friedel will take you on a journey with their unique instrumental sound and soothing vocal blend. Joining the trio in 2023 is Catya, a musician skilled in multiple genres who has gigged from coast to coast.
Multi-instrumentalists playing guitar, banjo, ukulele, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, melodica and percussion, these artists will take you from folk to country, newgrass to blues to Latin jazz and back again. Rooted in the Nashville songwriting tradition, you won’t want to miss their honest lyrics and pure vocal harmonies.

Eggplant Heroes - Sounds of River Bend
Eggplant Heroes is an Americana collaboration among Duffy Duyfhuizen, Max Garland, Joel Pace, Olaf Lind, Dan Zerr, and Lucas Fischer. Mixing original tunes from their CDs After This Time and Better Weather with songs by others (e.g. John Prine, Jason Isbell, and John Hiatt) and a gospel tune or two. Blending four-part harmonies with guitars, fiddle, and trumpet, Eggplant Heroes tries to bring a rich and eclectic musical experience.

Howard "Guitar" Luedtke - Sounds of River Bend
Say the name Howard “Guitar” Luedtke, and little more needs to be said. Howard is a staple in the Blues scene and with good reason. He has 40 plus years of playing guitar in both the Midwest and on the international stage.
In 1964, Howard got his first guitar and today, when he picks up his Les Paul, he will transport you into the world of the blues. He's incredibly talented and his passion and love for what he does shows.
Adam Moe - Sounds of River Bend
Adam Moe is a fiddler and singer/songwriter based in Duluth, MN. In 2012, he started the folky-tonk duo Pushing Chain with a former musical partner. For the next eight years, Pushing Chain toured the US and Canada, playing venues big and small and gaining fans the old-fashioned way — face to face, one at a time. Adam has been featured on radio and television and played some of the biggest festivals in the country, including the 2019 Woody Guthrie Festival and the 2019 Kerrville Folk Festival.
Adam believes that good music can make strangers share a table, and he tries to prove it every time he plays.

Pat McGinnis - Sounds of River Bend
Pat McGinnis, Pat has always enjoyed singing for people. Early influences include John Denver, James Taylor and The Eagles. He started singing for weddings at sixteen years of age. He sang in bands in the 70’s and eighties but took time off to teach and coach at the high school level. Pat joined the group “The Krismas Kookies” with former teachers from the Eau Claire School District. As of late Pat has entertained with well-known local musician Ken Rogers.
Simply Cake Couture: Cookie Decorating Class
We still have a few spots left for this Friday's Cookie Decorating class with Simply Cake Couture. The winery will be open only for those registered and attending this event. Doors will open at 5pm!
